Follow the glowing dots and strum along to the beat. Green dots are down strums, blue are up. Keep your hand moving through the faint dots — just don't hit the strings.

The story behind dotBeat
Built by a beginner,
for beginners.

I'm Shelley. I started learning ukulele in my late 60s and kept running into the same problem: chord sheets told me what to play, but not how it should feel in time.

dotBeat started as a personal workaround for that rhythm gap. If you're newer to uke and want a clearer way to follow songs and patterns, this was built for you too.
